Guidelines for parents

1. Parents are requested to note that boys/girls do not drive to school on scooters/motorcycles/cars.
2. To see that their children come to school neatly dressed and in time for the Morning Assembly.
3. To keep a check of the Leave Record and Late Attendance Record.
4. To sign the reports and the occasional remarks from the teachers made in this diary.
5. To immediately notify the School of any change of address and/or contact numbers.
6. To attend School functions when invited and give the required encouragement to children.
7. If a student is likely to be absent for a long period of time the Principal must be informed on priority. In case a student is absent for more than a week the parents MUST meet the Principal and state in writing the reason for the absence.
8. In case absence is due to illness, it is mandatory to submit an authorized/MBBS doctor's certificate with a photocopy of the prescription.
9. If a child is suffering with measles, chicken pox, COVID or any other contagious illness he/she should NOTbe sent to school under any circumstances and information about the same be given.
10. If a Student needs exemption from physical training or games, a medical certificate by an authorized/M.B.B.S doctor must be submitted.
11. When communicating with the Principal, Parents and guardians are requested to state in their letters, the name, class and section in which their child/ren are studying.
12. Parents and guardians are requested to meet the teachers on 'PTM/Report Day fixed by the School authorities about their children's progress in studies.
13. Parents are requested NOT to meet the teachers during class hours. If absolutely urgent, a written permission must be obtained from Principal.
14. Use of foul language/communication, direct or indirect, by parents/guardians/students, with the Principal, Staff and School, will entail expulsion or any other action at the discretion of the Principal.
15. Gifts to staff members are not allowed.
16. Late comers and absentees from School will not be admitted in class without the Principal's approval.
17. Students whose attendance falls short of 85% will neither be permitted to appear in the examinations nor promoted to next class.
18. It is compulsory for the students to appear in all examinations, monthly and periodic tests. Students absent from an examination without a medical certificate from a authorized/MBBS doctor's certificate will be marked absent and awarded zero marks. In no case will he/she be re-examined.
19. Please check the School diary of your child regularly. It would reduce the negligence of your child towards studies.
20. Daily checking of books and copies according to the next day's time table will help your child to perform better in academics.
21. As the medium of instruction in school is English, it would benefit your child greatly if you would encourage him/her to speak in English and to read English books and newspaper at home.
22. Encourage and support your child to participate in cultural and sports activities held in School.
23. The School will not entertain any application for change in route and transportation during mid-session.
24. Parents should not dictate the management in any way. The management has every right to lay down conditions for admission, promotion or detention of the pupil.
25. Students are expected to adhere to the rules and regulations framed for them and any violation will entail strict disciplinary action.
26. Parents are expected to co-operate with the School authorities in enforcing punctuality and discipline and ensure that their child takes keen interest in all activities of the school.
Bringing weapons/fire arms to the School will lead to immediate suspension of the student from the school.
